A really lovely house
The rooms--including furniture, wallpaper, and floors--are simply gorgeous. The kitchen is modern and of professional grade quality. The house is big enough for a large family gathering. I wish my own home was this nice!
It’s beautiful and antique
We enjoyed our stay. Definitely recommend the property for larger groups
Mini vacation
Great house, we enjoyed our stay. Spacious, clean, nicely decorated with a fire pit outside and plenty space in the driveway. The owner was very easy to reach and made the check in and check out very simple. Would love to come back.
Great Family Weekend
My family and I stayed at The Bartlett Village House for the weekend and enjoyed it so much. The house is beautiful and centrally located to everything the area has to offer. Mark and Jana are very responsive hosts, thanks again for having us!
Beautiful clean home - Amazing kitchen
We loved the house and especially the kitchen! Great kitchen for cooking for a group with everything you need. Jana and her husband (Hosts) were very responsive.
Great big house with a lot of rooms
It was a great big house perfect for our group of 4 families.
Beautiful Stay With Lots To Do
House was beautifully kept and inviting. Perfect for our large group! Location was great for fun outdoor activities and exploring the white mountains.
Great base to explore
Amazing house to explore the white mountains! Thanks for the comfortable stay.
Wonderful family ski weekend!
This is a big, beautiful house with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms and an amazing kitchen. My brother-in-law is the chef of the family and he went right to town! In addition to winter sports, we had great meals and so much fun chatting in the kitchen and sitting around the dining room table! Everyone can't wait to do it again next year!
Lovely spot
Beautiful property in a wonderful location. We were there mainly for cross country skiing and the options nearby are incredible -- I was able to ski to within a couple of blocks of the property on my first day, arriving on skis for our vacation which was great. Took my fatbike out the next day from the driveway and once again was onto some great snowmobile trails within a few blocks of the house. Jackson was a short drive away when I wanted a change from the Bear Notch trails down the road. The property was absolutely beautiful, and cooking on a professional range was great fun -- I need a griddle in my every day life now!
Family Vacation
My family and I loved the house. We loved the camp fire outside and the spacious rooms. We also loved the air conditions in the house. Overall, it is a great house and you should definitely make a stop there when your in North Conway.
Big, beautiful, clean and wonderful!
Our large group of 9 was very comfortable in this big, beautiful, very clean, historic house. The charm is incredible, the space is appreciated and the housekeeper deserves praise! Plenty of space for all your winter gear on the closed- in porch, bedrooms a-plenty with the comfiest beds, a wonderful kitchen for the whole family and a great big dining table as well. The host had great communication and they take impeccable care of the property.
Great location and beautiful house
Perfect location for a family reunion - 8 adults and 5 kids with lots of room. Grilled in the back and the kids were able to have a great time together.
The house is clean with generous spaces for guests to lounge and yet feel cozy. The kitchen is well equipped with a well sized stove, and silverware and dinnerware for at least 14 people. The owner left a guest instructions booklet with easy to follow instructions to use house appliances and a clear set of guidelines for guests to be aware of while staying at the property. The owner’s response to questions was prompt and courteous. Our teenagers loved the collection of board games, and the adults enjoyed playing classic albums on the record player. Having a separate large room for ski gear was perfect to store wet boots and outerwear. As we were a large group of 3 families, having a wide driveway for many cars was super helpful. Two mile drive to Attitash made early morning skiing less stressful. Good times! Would definitely stay again!
Great house for large family
Fantastic location and beautiful property. The house is spacious and well laid out. My family of 12 fit very comfortably. Each bedroom had its own AC which helped on those really hot days. Check in and check out was easy and simple. Jana and Mark were excellent hosts. We would absolutely rent again!
I wish I could give it 20 stars!!
Me and 6 girlfriends stayed at this property for a girl's golf getaway, and I can't say enough about how great this house is. It was super clean, warm and welcoming. The kitchen was amazing! We all had our own rooms which were spacious and so comfortable. Jana the host was extremely helpful and quick to reply to answer any questions. I would highly recommend this house and we definitely plan on returning!!
Amazing family trip!
We loved our stay at the Bartlett Village House! There was PLENTY of room for our party of 9 including a toddler, two kids, and six adults. The house is beautifully furnished and appointed. We loved the kitchen, big dining table, record player, and outdoor fire pit. There covered porch area for ski/outdoor equipment was great. The jacuzzi tub and huge shower in the master were a fun touch! We were expecting a grill but it was stored for the winter. The location and proximity to Attitash was awesome. We didn’t bother with parking because we were close enough to easily get picked up and dropped off! We had such a fun time and would definitely like to return!
Wonderful Venue for a family/friends get together
The Bartlett Village House is truly a hidden gem of the White Mtns. Convenient location, plenty of parking for guests, extremely clean and wonderfully restored to its vintage charm. Jana is a great host, caring and responsive. Will definitely be rebooking for future getaways!
What an amazing weekend! Perfect property for multiple families!
Lots of room for everyone to sleep (and have their own bed and bath). Great dining room for meals together. Big fire pit in the backyard for roasting marshmallows!
Beautiful quiet location!
This was a girls getaway, the stay was amazing we had ample room to all be comfortable. My sister is a professional cook so she had a blast in what she referred as her “dream kitchen.” We did a lot of local activities including the Saco river float which was not that far of a drive. Enjoyed the scenic views along the way ! This is a hidden gem that you won’t regret!
Our group of 4 families spent the 4th of July weekend at Jana’s beautiful home after long isolation due to COVID. The house was very clean and the kitchen with commercial cooking range was super. The location is very convenient to access all the mountains and local places at Conway. We really enjoyed and had a lot of fun. Even saw a bear. Highly recommend this house for a group gathering.
I can't recommend this place enough! Jana was extremely communicative, flexible and friendly and the house is perfect! We were a group of four families and everyone was able to have their own room, kids included. The house is 10 minutes from StoryLand and groceries/beer/wine and 5 minutes from Attitash. It's well equipped, has a great outdoor space and I genuinely can't think of anything that we needed that we didn't have. I will gladly stay here again- thanks Jana!
I highly recommend the Bartlett Village House to anyone and everyone! It’s the perfect place to gather as a family, friend or retreat group! What the owners, Jana and Marc, have done to this antique home is simply amazing! The home warmly invites you to unwind, relax and enjoy the beautiful home and outdoors! A place to unplug and reset! However, if you must plug in, you can be assured of WiFi availability throughout. There is a large screen tv in the living room for you to enjoy! The owners have done a fabulous job of bringing back history of the home. Every room is decorated in vintage style! Simple and very elegant! The kitchen, the heart of the home, is magnificent! The tin ceiling and commercial grade stove, in the kitchen, is awesome! They have stocked the cupboards with everything you need to serve up a fabulous meal and set a beautiful table! The side porch off the dining room is a huge bonus room for practicing yoga as a group! Everything about this home invites you to enjoy life, simply and lavishly at the same time!!! Kudos to Jana and Marc! I also want to mention that there is a quaint little diner across the street that provides a menu of the best comforts foods. The mountains and Saco River invite you to come outside and explore. Also, North Conway is close by for those who like to shop! There is plenty to see and do! In the winter, ski mountains are minutes away! Again, I highly recommend this gem! You will want to return again and again!
Gorgeous house! I stayed in the Arethusa Falls room - the bed was extremely comfortable! The kitchen is amazing, with tin ceilings, a huge stove and a great island to gather around. House is well decorated and owners are so friendly!
This house is absolutely gorgeous. The pictures do not do it justice. You can tell the love and time that was put into it. So roomy! Everyone was able to spread out comfortably both inside and out. I brought items that I thought I would need and I literally left with everything, because they had everything. Pots, pans, utensils even batteries. Owner was very responsive and was very intuitive about what would make our stay a success. Easy to get to N. Conway for restaurants and shopping. This is definitely a place that we’d stay again.
The house is beautiful!! My room was beautifully decorated and the bed was very comfortable. And the location can't be beat - it's close to everything! Really loved my stay!
Beautiful property! It has everything you need and in the perfect location. Each room is unique and beautiful.
This beautiful grand home is a perfect place to gather for family get-together. It offers 7 lovely and comfortable bedrooms, a big kitchen with 6 burner stove and 2 ovens. I loved cooking everything at once and serving it all hot in the large and inviting dining room.
The living room has comfy furniture to relax in and enjoy.
My favorites are the en-suite queen bedroom with a jacuzzi bath, appropriately named “Diana’s Bath “..... and the grand front porch with rocking chairs.
The whole house is very bright due to large windows throughout and very tastefully
decorated with vintage touches and beautiful wallpaper which adds to its charm.
You can walk to a restaurant, store, and park with historical info.
Downtown North Conway shops are a 15 minute drive.
This home is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy. I highly recommend it.
I stayed the night in the Arethusa Falls room, it was beyond charming! I woke up and rolled over to see the sun peek over the mountains, filling the room with pink light. It was lovely.
The whole home is beautiful, I couldn't stop looking around taking in the details and admiring it all. I was blown away!
