True healing happens when
you get out of your head

Somatic healing is a holistic approach to healing that focuses on the interconnectedness of the mind and body. It acknowledges that emotional, psychological, and physical well-being are deeply intertwined, and therefore, to achieve healing, one must address all aspects of the self.

It has been a pleasure to host our annual retreat at The Bartlett Village House for the past four years. Myself and my guests, considerate the Bartlett Village House an absolute gem nestled in the beautiful White Mountains of New Hampshire. The accommodations are warm, cozy, and inviting; creating a welcoming and nurturing environment that makes every guest feel at home. Our yearly retreat here is always a highlight, offering a wonderful balance of meditation, meaningful conversations, shared meals, and the joy of gathering around the dining room table. The setup of the house is ideal for fostering connection and relaxation. Jana is incredible to work with—always attentive and accommodating—which makes planning effortless. The location is perfect for enjoying small hikes, exploring local shops, and dining out. We eagerly look forward to returning each year for our WOW (women-only weekend).
The Bartlett Village House truly feels like our home away from home.

Sending a huge shout out to The Bartlett Village House for providing our home away from home this weekend. What an amazing place to stay! Plenty of room for all 12 of us to sleep, eat, mingle, not mingle, yoga, not yoga & more. The owners are amazingly helpful and responsive. The house is immaculate. The location is top notch. We can’t say enough about how much we loved it here!

Leading a retreat was something I always wanted to do, but I didn't know quite how to go about doing it. I'm so glad I decided to give it a go at the Bartlett Village House! I loved it so much, I decided to lead a second retreat there (and am planning a third!). As soon as you walk into the house, you feel relaxed and at home. All of my participants felt the same way. The location is perfect for all kinds of outdoor adventures and Jana helps make the planning easy and stress free! I couldn't ask for a better experience as a retreat leader. It's a very special place.

The Bartlett Village house has been the perfect place to host local yoga, nature, and self development retreats. The large dining table has been a favorite memory at all our retreats there for the inspiring conversations had over family-style meals. We also love the backyard fire pit for after dinner hang outs and somehow always end up in the kitchen for late night snacks and deep life chats. The railroad-style porch is greeted by the sun each morning making it a wonderful spot for early morning yoga and meditations. The proximity to SO many hiking trails and outdoor adventures is one of the main draws of BVH as a retreat facilitator. The excursion options are endless for any season and make it easy to plan a well-rounded experience. Jana and her staff are very helpful with suggestions for planning and using the house. Been coming here for two years and recommend it to others who are either first-time retreat facilitators and experienced hosts as a central gathering place in New Hampshire. Thank you for creating such a welcoming, beautiful and unique New England retreat venue where we can really let go, be taken care of, and enjoy.
