The Bartlett Village House is located in the village of Bartlett, New Hampshire, nestled in the heart of the 790,000-acre White Mountain National Forest and in close proximity to nearby North Conway, Jackson and the Crawford Notch. Year-round family fun is right outside our doors...
The Bartlett Village House is a beautiful 7 bedroom, 3.5 bathroom private home sleeping 14 doubles and 11 singles comfortably. Our home offers a unique getaway complete with New England Charm. Beautifully decorated in antiques and original decor with just the right amount of modern updates...you will never want to leave!
Built in 1890, this house began as a private residence, but by 1918 was operated as an Inn/Restaurant by Gertrude Thompson whose husband worked as a foreman on the railroad. In 1945 it was purchased by Sanford Hill who renamed it the Chippanock Inn (bright north star). He continued to operate it until his death in the early 1990'S.
In addition to group vacation rentals, we also host some of our own outdoor group adventure retreats as well. If you are looking to join an organized group for a weekend in the heart of the white mountains connecting with nature, yourself and other like minded people while staying in our 1800’s historic former B&B, one of our intimate, adventurous weekend retreats may be for you!
